Yan Ji has already worked as a doctor for over 25 years in clinical fields of both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Before arriving in the United States, Dr. Ji worked as an orthopedic surgeon in China. Although he worked mainly as a western doctor in China, he also applied TCM treatments to his patients. And besides his rich clinical experiences, Dr. Ji also did some scientific researches in China. His academic treatise had ever earned the Award of National Scientific Technology Progress of China. His years of practice as a medical doctor and surgeon allow him to combine the best from Eastern Medicine and the leading age technologies to provide optimal solutions to his patients.
Yan Ji graduated from a western medical college—the Medical College of Qingdao University in China, he
got the education of not only the Western Medicine but also the TCM from the college. Dr. Ji earned his
Master of Science in Oriental Medicine degree from Dongguk Royal University in the United States ( Los
Angeles ), this three-year program consists of 3,000 hours of education including 1,000 hours of clinical
practice. During his studying periods at Dongguk Royal University, he got many awards like Scholarship
Award (First Class) , Best Intern Award, Magna Cum Laude, etc., and he graduated from Dongguk Royal
University as the highest GPA student.
Yan Ji was certified as a licensed acupuncturist by the Acupuncture Board of California State. This includes
certification in Clean Needle Technique, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. After graduation, Yan Ji
practiced
acupuncture in California until moving to Denver in 2006.
Yan Ji is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the California Acupuncture Medical
Association. And he is now a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in both Colorado and California.
